LEATHER CARE – APPLIES TO ALL LEATHER ITEMS

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather items shouldn’t be saturated with water. If the item becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process.

Exposure to water, salt water, strong sunlight, unsuitable cleaning products, heat sources and fast drying can cause leather to deteriorate.

To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually. If you dog likes the water then we suggest you remove leather collars before they get wet, to help prolong the collars life.

Cleaning

If the item gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or use a soft leather cleaner and follow up with a suitable leather protection crème to keep the collar looking great for a long time. Once clean, dry the collar manually with a towel and allow time to air dry. Don’t dry the item using a strong heat source like a radiator as this can cause damage to the leather.

SYNTHETIC CORDED ITEMS

Please note that whilst synthetic products are hardier than natural items. If the item becomes wet, there may be some colour run of the natural dye. Ideally synthetic items shouldn’t be saturated with water. If the item becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process.

SOFT PVC – COLLARS & LEADS

Our soft PVC items are robust and water proof, and require very little effort to keep the item looking great for years to come; however damage can occur through improper care & cleaning.

Exposure to salt water, strong sunlight, unsuitable cleaning products and heat sources can cause the item to deteriorate.

Cleaning

If the item gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth and warm soapy water (avoid chemical based cleaning products). Once clean, dry the item manually with a towel. Don’t dry the item using a strong heat source like a radiator as this can cause damage to the item.

Whilst our soft PCV items are robust, prolonged exposure to water, salt water, strong sunlight, unsuitable cleaning products, heat sources and fast drying can cause the item to deteriorate and colours to fade.

CERAMIC BOWLS

All of our bowls are durable and dishwasher safe. However we do recommend for longevity that you hand wash with soap and water but is dishwasher safe.
